I grew up in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

My education: Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical), University of Victoria

Awards/accomplishment: Daily Star Academics Award, UVic Aero design team participation

Why Flow? This is one of the best places to acquire engineering skills for someone who is willing to put the work in.

My earliest engineering-related memory: Extracting motors out of toys to retrofit on styrofoam boats and attaching custom propellers on the motor shafts.

Project I’m proud of: The completion of my first project at Flow as that peaked my interest in HVAC design.

A favourite moment in engineering: When I secured second-fastest time for a mechatronics project as an amateur programmer.

What I love about working with clients: Building a bond of trust.

I chose Vancouver because of the weather and nature.

I’m inspired by Jürgen Klopp.

When I’m not working you can find me playing soccer or tennis.

Something I’ve fixed/built from scratch from home: I’ve repaired my car’s brake line and overhauled the brakes using YouTube as reference.

I’m surprisingly good at driving and cooking.

Transportation of choice: Driving solo

Coffee or tea: Coffee

Quote that guides me right now: “Never look back and dwell on past failures but learn from them.”
