What’s your favourite type of cake? Tres leches with added rum.

Projects I’m proud of: I worked for one and a half years with a bioengineering institute in Venezuela, redesigning the geometry of a partial hip prosthesis according to the manufacturing processes and biomaterials available in Venezuela.

What I like about systems design: I get satisfaction in seeing a project come to life from start to finish, knowing all the details I’ve worked on are coming together.

How mechanical engineering improves lives: We displace and transform energy through mechanisms to make life more enjoyable.

I chose Vancouver because: of the weather and landscapes.

I’m concerned by: how rapidly the world is moving.

When I’m not working you can find me: Enjoying amazing places in BC with my family.

On my playlist: rock, salsa, soundtracks, instrumental music.
